Hélène Metzger: a thinking heart towards Auschwitz
Hélène Metzger (1889-1944) was a French historian and philosopher of science, whose work has remained influential to this day. After the German occupation of Paris she moved to Lyons and she wrote La Science, l’appel de la religion et la volonté humaine (Science, the Call of Religion, and Human Will).
