Norma Picciotto’s artistic photos are like an intricate embroidery where images of nature intewine with verses of love, graffiti or with conceptions that draw inspiration from the vast array of metaphors displayed in the Song of Songs, the universal archetype of what is known as lyric poetry.

"The world in its entirely is not as worthy as the day on which the Song of Songs was given to Israel, for all the Writings are holy, but the Song of Songs is the holiest of all". So said Rabbi Akìva, the great 2nd century CE scholar who lived in the Land of Israel. And ever since then, the Song of Songs has become an integral part of of the Old Testament canon. The poem, celebrating love is all its forms, is traditionally attributed to King Solomon. It is divided into eight short chapters, each one a dialogue.

After the opening, there will be the concert "Il Duo Sephard".
