Esther is a Holocaust survivor. She tries to outlive her rebirth in the Displaced Persons Camp 34 and 39 in Salento. What was her destiny? What is it now? What will it be? She is seeking an answer to her questions in memories, in the land that welcomes her and in the hope of the promised land beyond the sea. She will find it in Salento.
The Jewish Museum of Lecce in cooperation with Teatro dell'Argo and Cantine Leuci presents the teather show "Passaggio in Salento / Pass over into Salento" written, directed and performed by Giustina De Iaco.
The show, available on reservation, will be held every Friday at 6.30 pm in English and at 7.00 pm in Italian.
The performance will be preceded by the guided tour of the Museum at 6.00 pm and followed by a kosher wine tasting offered by Cantine Leuci of Guagnano.
